The moment I heard 'Forget the Girl' on a mix years ago, I fell in love, and I was so delighted to find more music by the same band. Avery's lyrics are a standout in the world of wizard rock, and I don't say this lightly. His grasp of characters and the heartfelt, poetic songwriting and delivery are second to none. I adore songs about canon relationships that give me new insights, and this album does that so well.

It's so hard to pick a favourite! Ashley has such a capable, soul-stirring voice, and I love the concept of this album as a setlist on wizard radio. I do love 'Hey Dude', but in the end I have to pick 'Bring Them Home', because it's such a tender, gorgeous song about one of my favourite characters.

A gorgeous second album that holds up well to the high standard set by the first. The sweet love songs are back, along with an ode to Ron Weasley, a gorgeous metawrock song (and I'm not usually a big fan of metawrock), a couple of spiritual successors to songs from the debut album and one of my favourite DH Chapter 34 songs ever, among other gems. The fact that Avery is a songwriting genius cannot be understated.

Siriusly Hazza P are a criminally underrated wrock band with jaunty piano and killer vocals that are just really bouncy and fun to listen to. The catchy rhythms (like 'Why'd I Do It?' and 'In Too Deep') will have you tapping your feet and the rarer, more serious ones ('The Mirror') will make you awed by the musical beauty. A must for any serious wrock collection.
